This class will prepare students to pass the written and driving portions of the Commercial Driver’s License test as well as prepare them for their School Bus Driver endorsement. There are many open jobs in the bus and truck driving fields in Maine. Especially needed are school bus drivers, who earn between $17-$22 per hour. This class will help you follow that pathway. The class will be capped at 12 students and will give preference to people who are currently unemployed or underemployed. Upon earning your permit from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, you can contact our transportation department and do some practice driving.
